Epitafio para un alma vieja

Recuerdo aquella frase en la que se decía que "somos polvo de estrellas" (curiosamente algo así como un orgasmo cósmico que da lugar a la vida y que, como en Francia, se identifica con la muerte). Otro polvo... aquél que decia "de polvo eres y en polvo te convertirás" es el que se ha llevado a mi prima. Y es que la muerte y la vida son los dos extremos del mismo continuum.

Tenía sólo 57 años y 7 vidas vividas en una. Posiblemente por eso se fue. Había visto demasiado. Mi compañera de juegos de infancia, mi confidente, la que hizo las veces de hermana cercana y divertida, acaba de irse de vuelta a las estrellas; iluminando noches, iluminando sombras.

Era mi prima hermana. La hija de mi querida tía Isabel, que se fue antes que ella. Mi amada prima Mari Rosi, como la llamábamos todos en la familia. Ella entró en coma, tal que hoy, y por una infección de oídos que se pasó al cerebro, se murió de meningitis (en otras palabras inflamación de las meninges).

¡¡¡Que Dios te tenga en su gloria, que es la tuya y la nuestra¡¡¡. Y que allá, en los cielos estrellados, encuentres el mejor de los padres, ese Jesucristo que tanto amabas y que de seguro te acurruca contra su pecho para acoger tu llegada a esos reinos de Dios. Ahora tú sabes mucho más que nosotros. Traspasaste el velo y descansas en la sublime realidad de lo etéreo. Aquí quedamos todos, a la espera "de hacer la gran verónica a la muerte", como decía tu tía y madre nuestra. Eres Luz, véte hacia la Luz.
